The “Wilson P. Tanner Award” was established in 1991 by the Board of Directors of The National Association of Flour Distributors to honor a past or current member of the association for contributions to the organization above and beyond the norm. In 2001, the award name was enhanced to include the recognition of the significant services provided by Harold G. Gardner.
